Contacts
Tags and segments
Tags instead of lists, and segments built from rules that count live.

Tags
A tag is a label on a person, e.g. “customer”, “webinar-november”, “London”. Tags come from imports (a “List” column becomes a tag), forms, paths, by hand on the contact card, or in bulk: select people and click Add tag or Remove tag.
In Contacts → Tags you can rename a tag, Merge two tags or delete a tag. Adding a tag can start a path.
Segments
A segment is a saved set of rules, e.g. “clicked in the last 30 days and has no customer tag”. The count updates live and includes active contacts only.
- Go to Contacts → Segments and add a new segment.
- Add rules to the “all conditions must match” group. Optionally add an “at least one of these” group.
- Check the number of people and save the segment.
