Step types
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| Send email | Sends an email; it can have its own reminders. |
| Wait | N days or hours, until a weekday at 9:00, until the person's best hour, or relative to an event (day before, hour before, day after). |
| Check condition | Opened, clicked, replied, bought, has tag, attended... Then: end, jump to a step, add a tag or continue. |
| Add tag | Adds or removes tags. |
| Set field | Writes a value into a contact field. |
| Notify me | Sends you a notification, e.g. about a hot lead. |
| Send SMS | A short text message - Boost plan or higher, a connected provider and SMS consent (SMS). |
| End | Ends the path for this person. |
Triggers
- Form signup, tag added, event registration, purchase, link click, reply (also of a given kind, e.g. “interested”).
- No activity for N days, engagement threshold, frequent opens or clicks, win-back after N days.
- Date field with an offset (e.g. birthday), viewed product without buying, back in stock, price drop - these need the website script or the API.
- Manual - from the panel or by AI.
A path can run once per person or once per event (e.g. for every purchase). A purchase stops running sales and abandoned-cart paths - customers won't get “come back to your cart” after paying.
