SMS
Consent, STOP and SMS length
Who you may text, how STOP opt-out works and how characters and parts are counted.

SMS consent
A marketing SMS goes only to a person with a phone number and SMS consent who hasn't opted out. We check this again at send time. Collect consent with a separate checkbox in a form, at import or by hand on the contact card - the history is in Consents.
Opting out with STOP
Every SMS ends with your opt-out note (it must contain the word STOP). When someone replies STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT and similar words, we withdraw SMS consent for that number. Emails are not affected.
Counting characters and parts
| Text type | 1 SMS | Each further part |
|---|---|---|
| Standard characters only (GSM) | 160 characters | 153 characters |
| With accented letters or emoji (Unicode) | 70 characters | 67 characters |
- The counter shows characters, number of SMS parts and how many characters are left.
- A single accented letter (e.g. ą, ę) or emoji drops the limit to 70 characters - the replace button swaps Polish letters for plain ones.
- An SMS can have at most 6 parts. The characters ^ { } [ ] ~ | € count double.
- Personalisation:
{imie}(first name),{nazwisko}(last name),{marka}(brand). There is a phone preview.
