Consents, GDPR and export
Email and SMS consent history, erasing a person on request and exporting contacts to CSV.

Email and SMS marketing consent
Each contact card has a Consents card with the full history. Every change is a new entry - nothing is overwritten, so you can always show when and how a person agreed.
- We store: channel (email or SMS), granted or withdrawn, source (form, import, manual, API, STOP reply, unsubscribe, email confirmation), consent text, IP address, browser, note and who recorded it.
- A manual change needs a note (at least 3 characters), e.g. “phone consent 4 Nov”.
- Withdrawing email consent unsubscribes the person. Granting it by hand reactivates an unsubscribed person (but not a bounced address or a spam complaint).
- SMS consent requires a phone number. Withdrawing it cancels pending SMS messages.
Exporting contacts
Settings → Export and GDPR → Download CSV - all contacts or only active ones. Semicolon separated, UTF-8 (opens correctly in Excel). Columns: email, first name, last name, gender, status, engagement, source, date added, tags and up to 50 custom fields.
GDPR: erasing a person on request
In the same place the account owner can erase a person at their request (with a confirmation). The contact, consents, emails, events, paths, registrations, orders, conversations and tags are deleted. The address goes on the block list, so it won't receive your emails again.
