SMS through your own provider
How to connect SMSAPI, SerwerSMS, Twilio or Vonage and send a test SMS.
Last updated:
You send SMS through your own account at an SMS provider - you pay them directly, with no markup from us. The feature is available from the Boost plan. Settings: Settings → SMS.
| Provider | Best for | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| SMSAPI | best prices in Poland | API token (OAuth), smsapi.pl or smsapi.com account |
| SerwerSMS | Poland | API token |
| Twilio | worldwide | Account SID and Auth Token; sender is a number or a Messaging Service (MG…) |
| Vonage | worldwide | API key and API secret |
Connecting in 4 steps
- Choose a provider.
- Do this in the provider's panel - the guide shows where to find the keys and which addresses (delivery reports and replies) to paste at the provider.
- Paste the credentials and sender. The sender is a 3-11 character name (e.g. MyShop) or a number (e.g. +447700900123) - it must be approved by the provider. Also set the opt-out note (default “Opt out: reply STOP”) and the sending pace (30 SMS per minute by default). Save the provider.
- Check that it works - send a test SMS to your own number. The test goes only to you and needs no marketing consent.
