PingsYou vs Brevo

Brevo counts emails. PingsYou counts people

Brevo is a broad platform: campaigns, transactional email, SMS, WhatsApp and a CRM. You pay for the number of emails sent - so every reminder and every extra campaign raises the bill. In PingsYou you pay for the people in your database, and reminders are included.

The key differences in 30 seconds

If you only have time for one screen, this is it. We also mark the places where Brevo comes out ahead.

PingsYou ahead

Per email or per person

Brevo bills email packs, and since 2026 smaller packs also cap your contacts (e.g. 10,000 emails means up to 1,500 contacts). PingsYou: you pay for people, with a large email allowance.

Brevo ahead

Rare sends to a big list? Brevo can be cheaper

If you write to 15,000 people once a month, a Brevo email pack costs less than our Rocket. Honestly: with infrequent sending, Brevo’s model pays off.

Even

SMS: Brevo credits or your own provider

Brevo sells SMS packs priced by country - zero setup. PingsYou (from Boost) sends through your own Twilio, Vonage, SMSAPI or SerwerSMS account - you pay the provider its own rates.

Brevo ahead

Transactional email, CRM, WhatsApp

Brevo has SMTP and an API for transactional email, a sales CRM, live chat and WhatsApp. PingsYou focuses on marketing and conversations with replies.

PingsYou ahead

Reminders without buying more emails

Brevo lets you resend a campaign to non-openers once. In PingsYou you attach up to 3 conditional reminders and do not buy extra emails for them.

The differences up close

Paying per email: when it pays off and when it does not

Brevo’s model is simple: you buy a monthly email pack. If you have a large list and write rarely - once a month - you pay little, because you send little. That is a real advantage and we will not downplay it.

The trouble starts when you send more often. Four campaigns to 5,000 people is 20,000 emails, and every reminder and automation email eats the same pack. Since 2026 small packs also cap contacts: a 5,000-email pack allows up to 500 contacts, 10,000 emails - up to 1,500. In PingsYou you pay for people: Boost is up to 10,000 people and 50,000 emails, so reminders do not change the bill.

SMS: the convenience of credits versus your own provider

In Brevo you buy SMS in packs, priced by country. Everything in one place, no extra accounts - convenient, especially at the start.

PingsYou takes a different route: from Boost you connect your own Twilio, Vonage, SMSAPI or SerwerSMS account. Pros: you pay the provider’s rate with no reseller margin, you keep your own sender name and contract, and SMS can come from the same account as your store notifications. Cons: you need an account with the provider and must paste a key. If you do not want that, Brevo credits are simpler.

Where Brevo does more

Brevo is much more than a newsletter: transactional email via SMTP and API (order confirmations, password resets), a CRM with a sales pipeline, website chat, WhatsApp, push notifications and a loyalty programme. If you want one vendor for every channel, Brevo is very strong.

PingsYou is not a transactional gateway or a CRM. We focus on making a marketing campaign get read: a reminder chain, AI series, a reply inbox with classification, recurring events and approval before sending. You can keep sending transactional email from your store or any SMTP.

Language and currency

Brevo’s interface is in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German - no Polish. Billing is available in dollars, euros and a dozen other currencies.

PingsYou has an interface and support in Polish and English, billing in USD or PLN. Both companies keep data in the European Union.

What it costs at your list size

Scenario: 4 campaigns a month to the whole list, no reminders. Brevo: plan price + an email pack that also fits that many contacts. Net, in USD, billed monthly.

  • Brevo: pricing at brevo.com/pricing, checked November 2026. Values are the plan price plus the email pack, calculated from the pricing page - check the Brevo calculator for your own email volume.
  • Starter carries the Brevo logo (removal costs extra) and limited automation. Standard is the first plan with full automation and A/B tests.
  • At 1,000 contacts the smallest pack (5,000 emails) is not enough, because it holds up to 500 contacts - hence the 10,000 pack. Every reminder or extra campaign means more emails from the pack.
  • If you send once a month, Brevo will come out cheaper than shown - for infrequent sends to a large list, per-email pricing is a good deal.
  • Honestly: Brevo Starter is cheaper than PingsYou at every size in this table, and at 15,000 people Standard also beats Rocket. Our price includes reminders, AI, MCP and the Inbox, and Rocket holds up to 30,000 people and 150,000 emails - extra campaigns do not raise the bill.

Which to pick

Honestly: no tool is the best for everyone.

When Brevo is the better choice

  • You send rarely - say once a month - to a large list and want to pay only for emails actually sent.
  • You need transactional email via SMTP or API from the same vendor as your marketing.
  • You want a sales CRM, website chat and WhatsApp in one tool.
  • You want SMS without opening an account with a carrier - buy a pack and send.
  • You need a free plan that holds a big list (up to 100,000 contacts, 300 emails a day).

When to choose PingsYou

  • You send several campaigns a month and want reminders without watching an email pack.
  • You already have an SMSAPI, SerwerSMS, Twilio or Vonage account and want to send SMS from it without a reseller margin.
  • You want one sentence to become a whole email series with dates and reminders.
  • You run recurring events with a sign-up for each date.
  • You want an interface and support in Polish or English.

Moving from Brevo, step by step

A Brevo export is a single CSV file - it arrives as an in-app notification.

In Brevo: export

  1. 1Go to CRM → Contacts (optionally load a specific list or segment).
  2. 2Select all contacts.
  3. 3Choose More actions → Export.
  4. 4Pick attributes (name, custom fields, lists) and a separator: comma or semicolon. Click "Start export".
  5. 5Download the file from the notification (the bell in the top right corner).

In PingsYou: import

  1. 1In PingsYou: Contacts → Import, upload the CSV.
  2. 2Mark the Brevo lists column as "List" - each list becomes a tag.
  3. 3Choose your email consent basis and, separately, your SMS consent - both go into the consent log.
  4. 4From Boost, connect your SMS provider in Settings → SMS.
  5. 5Connect your sending domain: we check the DNS and spread sending over 28 days.

You can keep transactional email (order confirmations) in Brevo and move campaigns to PingsYou. The two systems can run side by side.

How import works

Questions about PingsYou and Brevo

Does Brevo still have unlimited contacts?

On the free plan you can store up to 100,000 contacts. On paid plans, according to the 2026 pricing, smaller email packs cap contacts: 5,000 emails - up to 500 contacts, 10,000 emails - up to 1,500. From the 20,000-email pack the cap is 500,000 contacts.

Which is cheaper: Brevo or PingsYou?

It depends on how often you send. With one campaign a month to a large list, Brevo can be cheaper, and Starter (with the Brevo logo and limited automation) is cheaper almost always. Compared with Standard, Brevo’s first plan with full automation, PingsYou with several campaigns a month plus reminders usually comes out cheaper up to 10,000 people, because you pay for people, not for each email.

How does SMS in PingsYou compare with Brevo?

Brevo sells SMS credits priced by country. PingsYou, from Boost, sends SMS through your own provider account (Twilio, Vonage, SMSAPI, SerwerSMS) - you pay the provider directly at its rates. SMS consents are recorded separately from email consents.

Does PingsYou send transactional email?

We do not offer an SMTP gateway for transactional email. Keep sending order confirmations and password resets from your store or Brevo. Move your campaigns, marketing automation and conversations with recipients to PingsYou.

Is Brevo available in Polish?

According to the Brevo help centre, the interface is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German. There is no Polish. PingsYou works in Polish and English.

Can Brevo resend a campaign to non-openers?

Yes - once per campaign, optionally with a new subject. In PingsYou you can add up to three reminders with different conditions: did not open, did not click, did not reply.

How we put this comparison together

PingsYou is our product, so we write from its point of view - but everything about Brevo comes only from its public pricing page and help centre (checked: November 2026). Where the pricing page only shows a number after you move a slider, we use the value reported by comparison sites and say so. Prices and features change - check the current pricing before you decide. Spotted a mistake? Write to us and we will fix it within a day. Product names are trademarks of their owners; we are not affiliated with them.
